Students play a huge role in our school. We believe they have the right to express their opinions and be included in decision making and organize school events to ensure that they learn more and get benefit out of BIBS.
Obligations and structure and other information
* We admit 200 students.
*100 into grade 11 and 100 into grade 12.
* We divide students into groups of 8, 4 groups in grade 11 with 25 students in each group and the same applies to grade 12.
* 4 Students are to be voted from each grades to represent students voice in the students council.
Dorms
*
Students enter their bedrooms by scanning their own cards or fingerprint.
* Students are to be at their bedrooms at 9:00-9:30 PM during school days.
* Students are to choose whether to spend their weekend with their families or with their school mates. (A variety of school trips and activities are arranged every week by the school).
* If students choose to spend the weekend in school they are required to be at their bedrooms at 11:00PM. (School trips end at 10:00 and buses arrive to school at 10:30 PM and school activities end at 10:30 pm).
Students
* Students are required to complete 3 hours of Community Service every week to help them get connected to the outside world.
* Students get a mobile phone that is part of the schools telecommunication network for them to call their teachers and class mates. the network is on from 4:00 to 9:00 pm.
* All students are issued a MacBook.
* All students are issued an amazon kindle instead of books.
* All students are issued an iPad for ease of taking notes and for communication, fun etc...
